Datsun 240Z - Roof cutting

www.VORD.net

There is a reinforcement inside the rear roof pillars and joining the new panel is easiest at the rear of the reinforcement. Also the gutter on this car is poor. Cutting along the red dotted line would give me enough of the rear pillar.

On the inside the cut is best made in the inner panel with the cross shaped reinforcement. Including more is fine.

I won't find out how the front pillars are reinforced until I cut them, but I would like the corder of the bulkhead as in the photos.

I also need the front LHS air tube. It doesn't matter if it is rusty. There are two triangular panels at the top that I would also like - one at the back and the other above the front strut mounting. Cutting the inner wing just below the air tube would give me all that.
